French TGV (high-speed trains) are seen at the Montparnasse train station, 14 November 2007 in Paris, on the day of a nationwide strike. French unions launch open-ended strikes in public transport, power utilities and elsewhere, education, hospitals, in a major test for President Nicolas Sarkozy's reform plans.
